Ridiculous Six. The Hateful Eight. In keeping with Hollywood’s latest obsession of adding numbers to the movie title, Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt will next star in The Magnificent Seven. This movie is a remake of the 1960 film of the same name which in turn is also a remake of Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai na inspired naman ng kwento ng Three Musketeers. So it’s really a remake of a remake of a remake. (Remake Inception!) Anong kuwento?

But there are movies that you shouldn’t touch under any circumstances. I’m not sure if The Magnificent Seven deserved a remake with the original already being a cult classic and all. (93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes my friends so mahirap talunin yan)  But the movie stars Denzel Freakin’ Washington and Chris Pratt you guys! But for every great Western like Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight, there are pieces of crap like Lone Ranger and Jonah Hex. So tingnan natin kung magiging maganda to. All we know for now is it has big shoes to fill.

Catch The Magnificent Seven on September 23, 2016.
